I rely on the available light at the time, my instinct, walking or driving around in new places to find what I can use in a picture.

George Eastman who founded Kodak once said...."Light makes photography, embrace it, admire it, love it but above all, know light, know it for all you are worth and you will know the key to photography". I totally agree with George's statement.

Beautiful light and my connection with a person, gives me the chance to make an honest picture from a genuine moment.

I was born in the UK in 1968 and emigrated to Australia some 30 years later. Perth, WA is now my home. I began my career in the UK as a Legal Secretary, but after starting a family went on to working with children with special needs. However, my ongoing passion took me back to night school to pursue a career in photography. If I have any chance of making a difference in this life it will be with my camera.
